由广东粤剧院出品，广东粤剧青年团演出的现代粤剧《青春作伴》作为广东省委宣传部、省文化厅主办的“欢乐广东——全省优秀舞台艺术作品巡演”的入选作品，12月9日在顺德大良镇政府礼堂作全省巡演的最后一站演出，至此《青春作伴》的巡演亦告一段落。该剧从今年6月起在全省巡演了35场，期间，《青春作伴》带着浓浓的青春气息走遍佛山、江门、高明、新会、三水、南海等地，为当地的观众送上欢乐。

现代粤剧《青春作伴》由刚刚获得第七届“广东省十大杰出青年”、国家一级演员曾小敏主演，该剧的主题紧贴时代，表演形式既时尚又不失粤剧传统。该剧在去年的省第十一届艺术节上收获14个奖项。今年，《青春作伴》先后应省政协、省直工委及省文化厅邀请，分别为出席广东省“两会”的代表献演以及在“迎接十八大专场粤剧演出”晚会上演出。此外，《青春作伴》带着蓬勃的朝气走出广东，11月中旬到上海及广西等地献演，该剧在两地引起了轰动，众多专家、观众和媒体在观看后给予很高的评价。为进一步修改提高，《青春作伴》剧组还多次邀请专家召开艺术研讨会，红线女、沈鸿鑫、邹平、余雍和、黎中城等多位国内戏剧界专家在肯定该剧具有精品基础的同时，也提出了不少有利于剧目进一步提高的宝贵建议。
